Topic	When will stories in gaming be written better than B list Movies?

Though in recent gens thats gone out the window due to mostly western companies homogenizing their releases in order to "appeal to everyone" aka appeal to the lowest common denominator low attention span normie idiots, so we can't have decent in depth plots and such because "omg how do i skip this shit and get to the part where i kill stuff" say what? so much wrong with this post. Games are trying to be movies now more than ever.
