Maybe if they'd cut down an episode or two from the ~~Yuki death~~ to the ending episodes, and tracked her a bit more, it would have been something. I think they tried to juggle her and Kogami as leads a bit too much. However, cutting more episodes would have bee odd. 22 wasn't a full season length already. I think what would have made more sense was a scene where Akane goes to Ginoza and basically usurps him privately. As it was, she just showed up and BAM! --- "Misguided mortals, you'll burn with me!
