| Topic | In Marvel comics, how have they ever managed to repel Galactus? |

I don't read Marvel comics so my knowledge isn't great, but my understanding is that Galactus is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel universe, if not THE most powerful. And I know the threat of Galactus eating Earth is a common plot. So... how have they ever managed to repel him? How has Earth survived so long from Galactus?
