| Darmik 07/25/17 6:31:04 PM #10: | The hub is probably the best hub out of any video game so far at least. There's so much crap to discover and do. I can understand where all the development time went and why they ended up downscaling the game and plot. But it's nearly all optional. If you don't do the sidequests the hub doesn't really matter much at all. While this doesn't help at all I doubt Deus Ex was gonna survive regardless if Square-Enix had to choose to kill off a franchise between Tomb Raider, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Deus Ex.
