Sub-Saharan Africans are genetically predisposed to higher muscle mass and bone density compared to other populations. This is true no matter where the descendants are: US, Latin America, West Indies or Africa. Not all sub-Saharan Africans, descendants of the African diaspora were the primarily from West Africa. Black people in the New World will share more similarities with West African populations.
