Some conservative opinions seem to be inherently offensive, for lack of a better term. Not all of them, but some. for example, gay marriage. if you want gay marriage to be illegal and or do not like homosexuality, you can share that opinion but sometimes get moderated. That is a belief that might offend somebody who is gay, when they cant change that about themselves. I would not be offended, but people could be. The reverse: if you want gay marriage to be legal, that might offend people, but not from a position of anything but choice. You choose to feel that way, for whatever reason. I do not feel these types of posts(arguing against gay marriage) should be moderated though.

I feel that is a difference to note, I dunno. Most importantly, diction matters. If you talk in a respectful manner, you should, should be fine. How many times have people complained about being moderated then when the post finally is shown it turns out they were too hot headed in their reply, or broke etiquette rules at the same time.

Why do you think Janway gets away with its signature? because it states their opinion in a pretty basic, simple manner with no derision cast or anything. Kinda sad a real person couldnt have had that signature who happens not agree with homosexuality and not a troll. that account took the best signature on gamefaqs.

ok, but homosexuality is a choice so your entire argument just crumbled

Is this going to be one of those times when you pretend not to have a plan until the last moment? And then turn out to really not have one?
