I think plenty of people get upset over silly and unimportant things, but that doesn't stop them from getting upset over them, it doesn't really stop them from having the right to be upset about them, and it usually doesn't stop the rest of society from seeing me as the asshole for provoking them. Like it or not, other people DO have other opinions than you do, and the fact that you may not be bothered by something doesn't mean other people can't be bothered by it, or that they can't be annoyed when you disrespect them by dismissing their concerns out of hand. What you're describing is how 10-year olds think - "I don't care about something, therefore no one should care about it".
