Having read whats out of the Made in Abyss manga,i find it pretty fucked up that the opening and ending is so childish and happy...

The fact that Nanachi is a main character in the ed makes me think that it's going to stay that way, considering that Nanachi only appears after shit starts to hit the fan.
Man considering how in the opening they even show the gate to the lower parts of the abyss, this show could go from really cute to really fucked up in just a few eps... specially when they introduce bonedrewd and all the fucked up shit he did...
Honestly if i had to guess, i think the anime will end when they get prushka's "whistle" and go to the lower part of the abyss
Considering that Bondrewd appears in the OP, they're probably going to show him, which means they'll probably have him be the final boss of the anime. At that point it just makes sense to have it end with them heading down the gate.
Also, considering how the white whistles we've met so far have been, it makes you wonder what other fun characters the manga has in store.
Aren't there like... 3-4 more white whistles asides from Ozen and Bondrewd? and i'm preeetty sure one of them had a suit that looked like a fucking medieval plague doctor so that is going to be fun
