They're always cesspools of angry fanboyism. The Switch board gives a whole new meaning to fanboyism. Its a great system and I've pumped many hours into it already, however it is a companion console to either the PS4 or Xbox One, not a replacement for one. If you bought a Switch and are expecting full 3rd party support then you are delusional, the 2st party titles will be great and probably score well but many 3rd party studios and games are going to skip this console and Switch owners need to be ok with that fact. this guy gets it Technically the Switch is getting 3rd party support(Skyrim, FIFA 18, NBA 2K18, WWW 2K18, etc.), just most likely not a very strong one like the PS4 and Xbox One has been receiving. I said it's not going to get full 3rd party support, and it's not. Battlefront 2, Destiny 2, Assassins Creed Origins, Shadow of Mordor 2 none of those holiday releases are coming to the Switch. I think anybody expecting a Nintendo console to be a viable system for 3rd party games needs to pull their head out of their asses. Nintendo hasn't gotten a significant amount of 3rd party games for over 20 years. You buy Nintendo consoles for 1st and 2nd party games. If a 3rd party game comes out on it, great. If not, well no shit get a PC, PS4, or XBox One and accept reality. --- I am a senior software engineer.
