Yeah, probably not what most people were expecting, but I honestly love this show. Two secret service agents Pete and Myka are transferred from Presidential Detail to something more important--a warehouse in Univille South Dakota. Back during the days of Alexander the Great, the first Warehouse was constructed. And in that warehouse they stored dangerous and magical artifacts. Since then the Warehouse has moved 12 times, before arriving in the United States. Usually it was located in the nation that was the most powerful at the time. Each week the agents of Warehouse 13 track down whatever's ruining the world's day, and snag it, bag it, and tag it. I particularly like this Haiku someone wrote: It's Like SCP/But instead of Weird Creatures/It's a whole lot worse. Most of the artifacts have some historical significance to them. Such as Catherine O'Leary's cow bell (which causes immense fires) Abraham Lincoln's Hat (which makes you want to free black people) Harriet Tubmans Thimble (which lets people take the form of other people) Pavlov's Bell (which will make dogs come straight to you, but you'll be slobbering for 24 hours), Jimmi Hendrix's guitar (which shoots lightning) and the Donnor Party Glass Jar (which causes anyone who puts money in it to starve) and so many more. The show is a lot of fun, and has a good cast. Along with Pete and Myka is Artie, who is sort of the leader. He's older, and has seen a lot of agents come and go from the Warehouse (of course most former Agents of the Warehouse are either crazy, dead, evil, or some combination of all 3.) Claudia Donovan also joins pretty early. She's a computer wiz who often messes around with things she absolutely shouldn't. And later we get Jinks, who can tell when people are lying. The show was screwed by the network, getting only six episodes in their final season to wrap up the show. But somehow they managed to do a pretty good job of ending it. Even with executive meddling at the end Spoiler Thoughts: --- This isn't funny Dean, the voice says I'm almost out of minutes! ~Alexandra ... Copied to Clipboard! |
