I don't consider it "an option" or "a privilege" to tell people I'm Romanian any more than I'd consider it "an option" or "a privilege" for someone from Somalia to tell people that they're actually Somalian. Has any parent of a girlfriend expressed misgivings that she was dating a 'dirty Romanian'?
