I was really nervous about it, but I took them out to dinner at one of their favorite places, some Italian restaurant with vegan options too. They chose the non-vegan options like the chicken parmesan but I really didn't care this time, I have so many other things on my mind. We talked for a while about other things. Then near the end of the meal, I broke the news that I'm pregnant. I didn't tell them what happened, only that I made a mistake and can't track down the father. They've never been supportive of me being a furry, how could I tell them that I got pregnant from one? Their reaction wasn't what I was hoping for. My dad got angry with me, telling me how I'm 21 years old and how my life is ruined. My mom was more supportive, telling me that she knows these things can happen and we'll work through it together. Privately, she told me she will talk to my dad to calm him down. My dad wants me to get an abortion, but my mom doesn't. This makes it so much harder...I have this little person inside me and there's so many reasons to take their life for the sake of improving mine but...I just don't know. The night ended not so well, I'm just happy that I have my own place with Kate so I can give my parents their space.
