Virtually no one needs to know calculus at all.


The point of learning calculus for the majority of people that take it isn't to learn how to take a derivative or do an integral. If it was, a 30 minute lecture on the geometry of derivatives and integrals would be enough to get the main point across. The concept is really fucking simple. It's the algebra, problem solving, and communicating that people struggle with.
