Not that long ago I heard a story on NPR about a cop responding to a domestic dispute who got shot.... by the boyfriend/husband who took his weapon. So your one anecdotal story is representative of all gun deaths in America? I mean, I have my doubts about the statistic's veracity too (especially with no source given), but a single story seems to be a pretty flimsy attempt to disprove it. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer.
