What reason do you have to attribute that to biology, rather than sociology? Overlooking that society is largely a construct resulting from biology -- since traditional gender roles have a basis on instincts -- men are naturally more prone to aggression than women and women are naturally more caring/empathetic in no small part due to the body's natural chemicals.
