You know how you get the thing for Oak at the beginning and then go back and give it to him? I didn't know I was supposed to do that, and you can't get by the angry guy who wants his coffee until you do, so for the first week I played it I thought that was just the whole game and I just stayed there and leveled up my Charmander.
