Apparently, Rick and Morty is back and better than ever! Largely due to the four new female writers they added to the team, for some reason.
Well, if season 3 is suddenly weaker than the two previous, that's a funny coincidence.
For the record, I think Season 3 has been okay so far.
I think the bigger issue is the creator's divorce. He sort exercises the majority of creative control over the product. It's weird that you instantly jump to the conclusion that it's the women working for him and not the man in charge.
There's two correlations going on here so you also can't say the bigger problem is the divorce. You don't know that. They could be both equal factors as to why quality dropped. I agree we can't blame solely one or the other but at the same time we can't dismiss one or the other as a lesser factor yet.
Is this the first time the series has had any changes to the writing staff?
