You lose weight by forcing your body to increase your metabolism, which continually forces your body to burn more calories. If you don't want to spend a fuckton of time cutting through a lot of bullshit designed to take advantage of desperate people and keep them fat and spending money, getting a personal trainer might help. You seem to have plenty of motivation so just schedule a few sessions and get them to setup a workout plan based on increasing your metabolic rate. Also remember that if your previous diet was really shitty then doing a little better might not cut it. Starving yourself is a fool's game that isn't gonna help, you have to eat good food. 2000 calories a day of quality foods high in protein and nutrients is the best way, and combined with increasing your metabolic rate is gonna get you where you want to go. --- All generalizations are false, including this one. ...
