Then when it was starting to blow over he dramatically kindled the issue because he was mad people were mockinh him. Then he got mad that him stoking the issue made it big again and flipped out. A smart president like Obama or Bush would have just either reacted quickly or kept downplaying it until the public stopped caring which they would have done in a week. Trump esstentially went "This doesn't matter... doesn't matter...
