I don't agree with adjusting vocabularies (1.) for extreme minorities, (2.) when it could be implied they don't mean any offense (3.) if the party in question wasn't so oversensitive.

There's a big difference in discrimination and statistical invisibility. Bisexuals don't get upset when people say "gay or straight", asexuals shouldn't either.

Also, unless said asexual is dating another asexual (odds are a million to one) then the lack of sex will probably cause relationship problems.

Don't misunderstand, if you're a happy asexual, I'm happy for you, but don't look for reasons to be upset.
