Most reasonable people agree that there are privileges and burdens inherent in any identity label. It's just a question of what you do with that information.

What if you care about things beyond legal rights?

It's also false that reproductive rights are the only relevant legal battles to be fought. For example, mandated paid family leave would be a pretty significant legal victory.


OK, family leave would be a valid example. But you don't have to be a feminist to be in favor of a policy. And the label has enough baggage that I don't want to identify with it.
