tbh, I always thought the meaning pretty clear -- especially because a similar convention was used on houndoom (no, he's not "the hound of the room") -- although I recognized the embedded word immediately. Possibly due to my dyslexia, which is why I've easily spotted anagrams at times (The Babadook, for instance)
