There are definitely girls that know how attractive they are and who is in their league. Why else do you think there are way more hot girls that post selfies and bikini pics than ugly girls? Would you think you were unattractive if you had girls lining up to talk to you? How about if you literally made a living based off how you look? Even if they are insecure, they get over-validated instantly, so it hardly ever matters. Especially with the internet. If anything, I feel like attractive girls would be insecure because of their looks, thinking that's the only way they are worthy. But then again, they will have 100s of guys claiming they are the most special thing ever, both genuinely and ingenuinely, so that also hardly ever matters. I think people just want to know that attractive women are on an even playing field to feel better about themselves, but it's pretty obvious that they have an advantage and they know it. It's kind of like when people say "money doesn't buy happiness" as an attempt to bring down rich people to their level. Sure, it doesn't, but being rich sure as fuck helps.
