I got mine a week ago. It's a more solid feeling system than I thought it would be considering the WiiU tablet felt like a fat plastic Playskool toy for toddlers. The buttons are a bit too small for me though, especially when in handheld mode. The right thumb stick being directly below the buttons and not offset a bit is really awkward for some reason. And it could maybe just be that I'm older but I honestly do get hand cramps in my right hand once I hit the 40 minute mark playing the thing as a handheld.
But putting it in the dock and using the square controller thing is just fine. It's not as odd or uncomfortable to hold as it looks.

One thing that I have noticed and is a negative is not only that the system gets very hot while in it's dock playing Zelda. It becomes hot enough that when I did reattached the joycons and removed it to play it as a handheld the little metal connector on the bottom is hot enough to burn. I had my shirt off and I reclined in bed so I rested it on my chest and immediately there was a pinpoint scalding like when you put your hand on a hot pan handle and you recoil without thinking. It was an actual hot bite off of the metal charging port on it's bottom. I felt it more and it is definitely hot enough to burn if left touching something long enough. Very surprising.

FFVII Remake: A disaster in the making.
I'll laugh at whatever I find funny whether you like it or not.
