| Topic | A decade later... how would you rate Gamecube? Playability now, not then. |
| Romulox28 08/27/17 7:53:33 PM #17: | it has a few absolute classics (RE4, WW, Melee, Metroid Prime, etc) but the problem with the gamecube was outside of those great games that was all it had. you could spend the rest of your life posting topics on CE going "anyone remember [underrated PS2 game]?" and you'd have tons of people saying how much they loved that game, but i felt like with the gamecube outside of a few classic first party games it was either crappier ports of a few AAA games or kiddie shovelware. back in the early 2000s consoles had a lot more personality than they do now and exclusives mattered a whole lot more, and gamecube just could not compete with the ps2 or even the xbox imo. that being said the controller is still pretty comfortable and games designed specifically for it feel great --- A Green Butter Alt(TM) http://i.imgur.com/LhwwG.gif ...
