It never ceases to amaze me how many people on CE are willing to come up with the most insanely baffling and backwards reasons to defend greed driven assholes like Player Unknown I've long since given up on fighting DLC prices and micro transactions ever since Fire Emblem started doing it and announced it was super profitable. You can complain as much as you want but at the end of the day, wallets will speak louder than words. And what's even worse is that those that speak the loudest against it tend to be the ones that spend the most money on it. I refuse to spend money on Gacha games or micro transactions though.
