i have a dog

at exactly 6AM, she walks to my side of the bed, rests her face 3" from mine and whines at very low volume. i hear it immediately and get up to feed her (my other dog is free-fed and stays in bed for several more hours).

my wife does not wake up when this happens which is amazing to me. but i sleep like a dog--unconscious in <5 min, awake in <5 seconds
