What a pathetic way to go out for one of the smarter characters in the show. Show Littlefinger has been a pale imitation since basically the second season. I've long made my peace with the fact that he's never get a good conclusion in the show. Getting killed by Arya is probably the best conclusion, unceremonious as it was. I don't think him being killed by Arya is bad. It might happen in the books. It's either gonna be supernatural shit, Sansa, Varys, or some combination of the three. It's just that he hasn't done anything impressive in ages and got killed doing the dumbest most inconsequential scheme imaginable. At this point it's just the details.
