F40 is regarded by car experts as one of the best and most influential supercars. It is one of the best and most influential, but neither of those things mean the looks hold up. They mean more the innovative use of lighter weight materials such as Kevlar, being the first production car to hit 200mph, etc. It was a monument feat of vehicle engineering and influenced a lot of people to become enthusiasts both with it's unique looks and performance but the looks we're really nothing more than a stepping stone to a better look.
