There are probably hundreds of churches and Christian congregations involved. I don't doubt there are hundreds of churches in the area helping people through the flooding... I don't think it's a matter of Christians vs Muslims. .. it's a matter of a money grubbing con man with a stadium church who can't be bothered to do what hundreds or thousands are risking their lives and their property to do. Well I think when a Muslim person points out how a few mosques are helping people and they have 100 volunteers but Christian Joel Osteen isn't doing anything, it feeds into a Muslim vs Christian narrative No its a small churches and mosques with boots on the ground helping people vs a con man with tens of millions of dollars and a stadium church not helping people but soliciting for donations. It didnt sound as if they were making a call for solidarity with Christians.
