Only a month later was my first time playing Descent and getting a taste of first-person shooter gameplay. For a long time afterward it made other first-person shooters feel like a step backward because it gave such complete freedom of movement. Descent was probably the bigger "mind blow" because it was the first time a game ever gave me apprehension about an upcoming encounter. --- Essy ... Copied to Clipboard! |
