I've only played the first XIII game still since JRPGs take me forever, but I like Lightning's personality and how she grows over the game. She starts out kinda cold and distant because she's blaming herself and others for what happens with her sister, but then she starts to open up and becomes nicer and more trusting. She had some funny moments too like Worst Birthday Ever. I really should play XIII again and then XIII-2 and LR. It's just so hard to play these things when I typically spend 100+ hours per JRPG
