FF9 trumps it in the technical sense, in every single category - but having seen FF7 almost all the way to the end, there is a charm to it that has shown me why the game still resonates with its fanbase to this day. Honestly, they're both great. 9 is much more ambitious and polished, but 7 is still fucking monumental despite how it looks and how much it's aged. --- There was no money, it was money that you wanted.
