What Joshua actually is- well, it doesn't outright say it, but it implies it strongly enough that you'd be like 'well I guess he's basically a god or angel or something then?'

There's nothing else in DDD I would classify as a spoiler. There's a couple other things that are like, clearly intended to be referential to plot points in the game but not in such a way that it would spoil events in the game itself.
