And I usually wouldn't know where they were in the standings except when I'd occasionally read the weekend paper that my parents got. Now I've gotten into the point where I'm a little obsessive, but that sounds nice looking back.

I kind of miss the naiveté of both being a kid and from the pre-internet days. It seemed like anything was possible, that there was so much to explore in this world until the internet came around and gave us all the answers so easily. Now I'm just lazy because the answers are spoonfed to me.
