Then they experimented and built what they called Hypermarts (stupid name) which became the prototype for Super Walmarts. They didn't have a Walmart branded grocery side. It was handled by an actual supermarket. (Ours was WinDixie) It was pretty much like a miniature mall with a few other small stores and a food court. The smaller Walmarts are known as Neighborhood Markets. I work in a Hypermart that has been converted into a Superwalmart. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
