I never understood why tb fans complain so much as if the genre is dying, when there's literally dozens you can go back to, and plenty more being released/rereleased on a regular basis. I think it is because some people, for whatever reason, refuse to play games on handheld consoles, and 90% of JRPGs worth playing release on handheld now because they don't want to spend the budget developing for home console. They know their fan base cares more about the mechanics than the presentation, so why try to compete on the console market where your game will be written off if it doesn't have great presentation. --- move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines.
