Topic	I missed when Final Fantasy was turnbased/ATB >_>

I think it is because some people, for whatever reason, refuse to play games on handheld consoles, and 90% of JRPGs worth playing release on handheld now because they don't want to spend the budget developing for home console. They know their fan base cares more about the mechanics than the presentation, so why try to compete on the console market where your game will be written off if it doesn't have great presentation. I'm one of those. I held out with Metroid 2 till the Gameboy player as well as the Metroid and Castlevania games on the GBA. Unless DS or 3DS get console ports I realize I'll miss out on those games. But I just can't get immersed in a handheld game like a can on a tv screen. I'd probably be done with BotW if I didn't refuse to play on the gamepad after trying it once. --- I think I need a drink.
