| The Top Crusader 09/06/17 10:23:03 AM #17: | I dunno, it's not that I really look down on anyone for doing whatever, but I do think its a little weird when someone past typical college age or so is still living with their parents, assuming both they and their parents are in good health and its not an issue of someone needing a caretaker. Could be regional, like mach25687, crazy expensive cost of living, where you are probably in some ways doing your parents a favor just financially by pitching in. Here you can easily get a perfectly decent place in a good area with utilities for definitely under $500, probably around $400 if you shop around and are lucky. If you're willing to live in a moderately sketchy neighborhood it goes down even more. I may have some bias because it was always just understood growing up that once I was done with college I was out of the house, lol.
