That'd make sense, if they're worried about losing brand specificity and it's legal protections. Xerox got tied up in a similar lawsuit over people using the word 'xerox' to refer to the process of making copies democratizing the Xerox brand. In this case, the 'Mc' prefix ironically devalues whatever its attached too, and again risks changing the intended meaning of the word.
