It's not just the constant rain, it's the wind that will rip the roof off of structures and the storm surge. Harvey fucked my county up and we just got the rain. I almost think criminal charges should be brought against broadcasters who downplay catastrophes like this to an audience that could easily die because of it. Agreed. I know one who's not leaving too even though I've done everything I can to express the gravity of the situation. Even the White House statement a few hours ago about "you'll be on your own at some point" got nothing.
