Basically your future will be better in every way possible by a wide margin but you will forget your entire past. That's all your memories gone. Oh, your wording was confusing. You made it sound like you were getting rid of a better future to forget your past. As for forgetting everything for a better future, I'm not sure that there's enough "better" to offset the suffering of losing your memories. Also, would we still have photos, videos, and other people remembering the stuff? It's just that we can't personally remember anything, right? And can the memories come back? Oh wait, if we forget everything, how the fuck will we remember to do basic human functions like dressing ourselves?
