Key West was fortunate to have the storm say east of the Island, they didn't get hit too hard with wind but the surge is going to cause a lot of damage and some of the other keys got it pretty bad. High tide is later this afternoon and its going to be bad for any of the low elevation areas from Naples to Tampa. Miami and Lauderdale avoiding some of the heavier winds but they still won't see a peak until later tonight but its looking positive for them compared to what was expected. Later today its supposed to hug the west coast and hit Tampa/Sarasota pretty hard.
