I'm much more used to bacon on its own than eggs on its own, partly because bacon is a lot easier to make since you can just microwave a few strips. You can also crack the eggs into a styrofoam cup and microwave that. They come out surprisingly good. I haven't done that in many years, so you might need to add milk or water to keep the egg from rubberizing.
