And if he knows WHY he has to fake it, then his mind is already differentiating between n word and "asshole." Thus, they're not the same to him anymore, since he's making a differentiation of "I can say this but not this on stream." Him slipping up when faking it means he doesn't fake it when he's not on stream, which means...
