Perhaps I could understand a moderation if the way I'd posted it was tasteless, but I pointed the finger at my own government instead of pointing it at groups of people, political affiliations, religion, ethnicities, or in any kind of way that would have negatively affected anyone on this board. If my family had been affected by 9/11 directly, I would want people to know what really might have happened. Speculation is healthy. Logic, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking are healthy.

It's extremely tasteless and these conspiracy claims are often used as an extremely offensive way of trolling, whether it's pretending that the government was behind 9/11 or the Sandy Hook Massacre. Not to mention it's probably the most tone-deaf day to post that claim on.

You're deliberately spreading misinformation. While there will always be legitimate points of contention on a great number of issues, batshit insane conspiracy theories which belittle tragedies are something else entirely whether it's claiming that the US government's weather machine has been used to trigger hurricanes and tsunamis or that one of the least competent administrations in history somehow pulled off what would be the most impressive scheme in history without anybody except some cranks in their mothers' basements noticing.
