TopicI feel the N word is a massive disappointment and failure of freedom of speech.

Years ago I honestly thought the sensitivity of the word and the hypocritical nature of who can and cant say it would pass by. I know now its insanely naive to think that but I thought both offensive and "non-offensive" uses of the word would die down and would just be a moderately offensive slur but no one would freak out about anyone using it.

Nowadays i feel i can go on an absolute vulgar/curse word tirade and no one bats an eye but literally saying the n-word under ANY circumstance is like a news story and people are sending videos to my boss demanding my job and questioning the company that hired me if they stand behind me yet for some reason still saying theyre not trying to take away freedom of speech.

Not to mention this is just because people get so angry and offended at any white person saying the word.

Oh well, the simple fix is i simply dont hang around anyone that would get super offended at me saying the word which is ironic because i hardly say it but should a song or news story come up using the word im going to freely say it accurately as the song or news story did or if were simply talking about how we feel about the N word seeing as its literally a daily occurrence that something comes up involving this word.
