It destroyed my relationship with my fiance, it ruined a lot of my humanity, and was in general hell for a 19 year old into being 21. Looking back on it, I regret nothing, I wouldn't be with my current wife as our marriage of 13 years has been incredible, but i'm so desensitized to a lot of things that normally would affect normal people.
