What's not inspiring about 5 different powerful people who strongly disagree on many things coming together to promote helping others
Because it's basic common sense. It's no more inspiring than if the five of them all agreed to say that America's great or that it's good to breath. It's a public service announcement that nobody disagrees with. It sends a good message and highlights a good cause, but if this is "inspiring" to people then it's nothing more than a sign that we as a society expect absolutely nothing. That's the point.
Lol, I knew there would be some way that somebody would find a reason to shit on this act of compassion, before I started reading this thread. This reminds me of people I've seen (in my own life) who refuse to volunteer to help a good cause, but have no problem criticizing other people for helping because their donation wasn't "enough" or their labor wasn't done "right." Hehehe, amusing.
