Bromance came because men leaned into everyone saying 2 guys being close was inherently gay. At least, that was my personal experience. I started leaning into gay jokes because I couldn't have a close guy friend without people making gay jokes. I just started beating everyone to the joke. Not that it bothered me. I was more worried it would make guys pull away from me because the stigma and then Id never get to have sex with them on a drunk night. --- Name checks out "I don't wanna be the toughest, I just keep it 100 and think nothin of it"- Black Thought ...
